August's Northside power hour will be hosted at Kendra Scott, located in the up-scale Market Street shopping area in The Woodlands. Network over sparkling wine, cupcakes, and shopping while hearing about mindfulness and INFObesity from Margaret Johnson, president of Ideal Training.
It's no secret we are bombarded daily with an overload of information and expectations from the news, work, social media and other sources. INFObesity is the term describing the difficulty in sifting through information overload to make effective decisions. It affects our performance as well as our working relationships. Through Mind-FULL-ness practices - including focus, high performance habits, emotional intelligence, energy, strategy and meditation time - we find a way to simplify and make sense of the craziness, forming effective strategies for high work performance moving forward. Participants will receive tips and make a personal plan to engage in the activities to reduce ineffectiveness.
Margaret A Johnson utilizes her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Michigan State University), MBA (University of Houston - Clear Lake), professional engineering license and ICF (International Coach Federation) PCC corporate coaching credentials to inspire people and organizations to move from S.O.S. (Same Old Stuff) to W.O.W.! (Well On the Way) to where they want to be. Her extensive business experience in the energy industry ranges from her start performing engineering analyses on power plants to marketing O&M services to and coaching energy executives.
As President of Ideal Training, Inc she works with clients to bust assumptions and biases that hold back progress, apply their creative geniuses to tackle issues and encourages courageous intelligent risk taking to assist them in solving problems and opening doors. Her creative, engaging, energetic style inspires individuals to apply the knowledge and take immediate action for continuing success.
