Member Spotlight

Amy Chronis, Partner
Deloitte, LLP

Amy Chronis is a member of WEN's National Advisory Council and a senior partner in Deloitte’s Global Energy & Resources practice.  She is part of Deloitte’s Center for Energy Solutions advising clients in the Oil & Gas sector and based in Houston.

Amy has served public and private enterprises, from emerging businesses to Fortune 500 leaders, for more than 30 years. She commenced her financial advisory career at Arthur Andersen serving companies in Oilfield Services, Manufacturing and Consumer Products as an auditor, including extensive work with mergers and acquisitions  and forensic investigations. She became the Managing Partner of the Austin office in 1999 working primarily with high growth and technology companies.

Amy brought her audit and tax practice to Deloitte in 2002 and became Deloitte’s Central Texas Managing Partner in 2003 overseeing extensive consulting growth in our Austin and San Antonio markets. She moved to Houston in 2012 to serve as Deloitte’s lead relationship partner for one of the world’s largest integrated oil & gas companies as well as other Houston enterprises. In this role, Amy is responsible for directing the teams serving these accounts, serving as the “face of Deloitte” in dealing with the C-Suite executives of these companies, and coordinating the resources of Deloitte to provide integrated service to such clients.

Amy is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Deloitte Foundation, the Nominating Committee of the US Board of Directors and the CEO Advisory Council.

Amy received her BSBA in International Studies and in Accounting from The Ohio State University and completed the Executive  Program at Columbia University Business School. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Her civic roles include the WEN (Women’s Energy Network) Executive Council, the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Ohio State University Board of Trustees, the Accounting Department Advisory Council for the University of Texas at Austin, the United Way Women’s Initiative and The Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation Board.
