With more than 25 years of legal experience, Jacqueline Peterson, J.D., leads Weaver’s forensics practice related to anticorruption, ethics and compliance. She began her career as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida, and most recently led anticorruption, ethics and global compliance efforts at Hewlett-Packard (HP), Hewlett Packard Enterprise, (HPE) and DXC Technology (DXC). While at HP, Jacqueline assisted the company in resolving investigations by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, earning accolades from the DOJ for HP’s extensive anticorruption efforts.
In addition to her anticorruption and compliance experience, Jacqueline has served as a criminal prosecutor and a private attorney focused on white-collar criminal cases. She has tried more than 60 jury trials and more than 100 nonjury trials. She serves on the Board of Advisors for the Eller School Center for Leadership Ethics at the University of Arizona, and is a member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. Jacqueline earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her law degree from the University of Nebraska, where she was named the Outstanding Female Law Graduate.
