Annie Chi is Digital Advisor, Digital Innovation and Acceleration for Chevron. Annie is responsible for partnering with Business Units and Functions to accelerate digital innovation.
Annie’s career with Chevron has given her the opportunity to work across the Chevron value chain. She joined Chevron as a planning engineer in 1998 with Chevron Research & Technology Company. She has held numerous positions with increasing responsibilities with ETC, San Joaquin Valley Business Unit, Information Technology Company, Chevron Gas and Midstream, and Mid-Continent Business Unit in petroleum engineering, project management, IT strategy, business engagement, and BU IT leadership. Annie has passion around the transformation of business and workflows through the application of digital technologies.
Born and raised in Taiwan, Annie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of California Davis in 1998 and an MBA from University of California Berkeley in 2010. Annie is also the co-cofounder of Chevron’s XYZ Network and currently an Advisory Member for the Asian Employee Network Houston Chapter.

Currently, Chicovia is helping to drive Chevron’s digital transformation as a Digital Advisor in the Digital Innovation and Acceleration team. In her role, she provides guidance and funding as a part of a cross-functional team that focuses on accelerating innovation and agility within the business.
Chicovia has over 15 years of experience in both the technical and business and commercial functions. Chicovia joined Chevron in 2008 as an experienced hire performing upstream finance project implementation and business planning and financial support in Chevron Shipping. Upon moving into the Chevron Pipe Line (CPL) Business Development group, she was responsible for the development of CPL’s asset base and led the due diligence on multiple divestment activities within the CPL portfolio.
Before Chevron, she held positions in or related to the oil and gas industry including process and facilities engineer at BP, Transaction Services Associate (Valuation Modeling and Consulting) at PwC and Energy Investment Banking at KeyBanc Capital Markets.
She has a BS from Florida A&M University in chemical engineering and an MBA from Rice University. For fun, she loves to travel, eat at various ice cream shops and attend alternative rock concerts.
