Houston Executive Event: Fall Thought Leadership Breakfast

Houston Executive Event: Fall Thought Leadership Breakfast
Featuring: Dr. Alejandro Chaoul, PhD - MBSI Founding Director

Houston Chapter - Executive Members Only Event

As the world around us speeds up, how do we keep up without losing ourselves along the way?

Managing change within an organization or a team has become a fundamental part of leadership in the energy sector. On a daily basis, we must cope with political instability against a corporate world that values stability, consumer advocacy for the energy transition to renewables, and so much more. Dr. Chaoul, of the Mind Body Spirit Institute, will be discussing how change affects us psychologically, both professionally and personally, and how to manage it for ourselves and within our organizations.

Alejandro Chaoul, PhD, is the founder and Huffington Foundation Endowed Director of The Jung Center’s Mind Body Spirit Institute (“MBSI”). He is a senior teacher at The 3 Doors and has been a student of Tibetan Buddhism since 1989, studying with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, and Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche. For the last 20 years he has been at MD Anderson’s Integrative Medicine Program, as faculty and Director of Education, teaching meditation to cancer patients, their families, and caregivers, and researching the effects of Tibetan mind-body practices with cancer patients. Alejandro was recently named a Fellow of the Mind and Life Institute.

MBSI brings a new approach for helping individuals flourish through unique wellness and emotional health experiences.  MBSI’s thoughtful selection of experience- and academically-based classes and seminars are aimed at reducing stress, improving health and nourishing the human spirit.  MBSI provides a renewal, response and remedy to the hectic pace of modern life and high demands of workplace expectations. MBSI offers solutions to those looking to refresh their approach to life, embrace their own potential and experience greater meaning and satisfaction in their work.
