Greater Albany Chapter: Utility Rate Case Process

Greater Albany Chapter: Utility Rate Case Process
On Thursday, October 17, from 4:30 to 7pm, please join the Greater Albany Chapter at the Bull Moose Club where we will be bringing together a panel of public and private sector utility rate case experts to discuss how the utility rate case process is helping the State and interested stakeholders advance the State’s ambitious energy policy goals.

Utility rate cases are much more than just setting the price for service that ratepayers pay. Important policy issues are addressed in rate cases, and in some instances, decisions made in a rate case can set the policy standard to be applied statewide or in another utility’s service territory. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to get insider perspectives on the utility rate case process in New York State!

The event will kick off at 4:30 with a welcome reception with appetizers and drinks. The panel will begin at approximately 5:30. We are excited to announce our esteemed panelists:

  • Moderator: Maureen O. Helmer, Partner, Barclay Damon LLP
  • Diane Burman, Commissioner, New York State Public Service Commission
  • Mary Krayeske, Associate Counsel, Consolidated Edison, Inc.
  • Jillian Kasow, Lead Counsel, Utility Intervention Unit, Office of General Counsel, New York State Department of State
  • Amanda De Vito Trinsey, Partner, Couch White, LLP
